tech tip- command A, C, V

Heres a tech tip for my peers, On a Macbook, if you are analyzing lengthy scientific articles and would like to jump to key points, simply hold command + 'f' to produce a search bar. In the search bar, you may type in key-words to jump to them, as well as highlight them, throughout the infinitely long article. Also the commands I use most often and some you might not know is the highlight, copy and paste options. Highlight= command + A ( 'a' stands for all) Copy= command + c Paste= command + v

Story Week 15- Arachne

Image
For my final story for this class, I wanted to share a story about the myth of Arachne. I've recently been reading a lot of these myths or folklore stories and I actually really enjoy them. So I might consider taking Laura's other class that focuses on myths. Ahhhhh... The story of Arachne. We have heard of lots of instances in the mythological world where Gods can transform into other things such as animals or another life form. This is common within their world and most of the time provides them an advantage. Within that there are still mortals that can undergo contortions but they are often unwanted and cursed upon them. Arachne was a young beautiful lady who had a great talent of weaving the most divine threads. People from her town always come to watch her spin her thread and create glorious pieces of art. She was so good, it almost seemed like the thread was just coming from her fingers. After a while of people always praising her work, she became so prideful and

Tech Tip, Screenshot

I think one thing I was always frustrated with was the inability to capture things that appeared on your screen, or wanted to show someone what appeared on your screen but didn't know how to do that. One great thing I've learned is how to take a screenshot of your computer screen. All you need to do is press command + shift + 4 and you can drag and select which portion of the screen you'd like to screenshot. This has become very helpful to me in the past few weeks. Easily one of the most useful tech tips.
